Pompidou Center museum - Animals exhibition

The Pompidou center is organizing a 2 parts exhibition with one of its part centered on the animals, from the 27th of January to the 12th of February 2012.
That's a theme we should definitely fit into, as such we have seen with the organizers about participating and entertaining the visitors there in costumes.

In order to give you as much as we can on one weekend, we've planned 3 parts spread on 3 days so far.
  • **FULL** Friday 27th of January evening: Exhibition's opening ceremony with guests and VIPs
  • **FULL** Saturday 28th of January afternoon: Free interaction with visitors at the exhibition
  • Sunday 29th of January afternoon and evening: Bowling at Orgeval center, interaction, meal and mini dance.

 Participants lists for each event

The Pompidou center also called the Beaubourg Center is located in the middle of Paris.
With its futuristic architecture, "boat like on one side", and its big court on the other side
It holds a huge public library and the biggest museum of modern and contemporary art in Europe where the exhibition will be hosted at.

The flow of visitors there should give us plenty to do :)

So, we're looking for participants in costumes, as well as helpers and other participants. :)
We might not be able to accept everyone for everything, as we have limits of how many costumes and helpers we can get in.
Those coming in costume will have access to a room for changing and taking breaks if needed.

Friday 27th evening: Exhibition's opening ceremony

  • Location: Pompidou Center, Paris
  • 7pm: Meeting before the event and setup
  • 8pm: Opening Ceremony starting with a film projection (we will most likely not attend in costume as it lasts 1.5 hours and go directly to the Exhibition)

Your mission if you accept it, is to do what we do best: entertain and interact with them, pose for photos and so on.

  • ~11pm: end of the outing
Due to the nature of this event we are required to have people in costumes who are used enough to public and can stay professionnal during the entire outing. :)
Sorry but beginners won't be accepted.

Saturday 28th afternoon: Free interaction with visitors at the exhibition

  • Location: Pompidou Center, Paris
  • 2pm: Meeting and getting ready
  • 3-6pm: Outing at the exhibition: there should be enough public visitors at the exhibition to entertain, so do what you do best, interact with them, pose for photos and so on.
Due to the nature of this event we are required to have people in costumes who are used enough to public and can stay professionnal during the entire outing. :)

Sunday 29th afternoon and evening: Bowling at Orgeval center, interaction, meal and mini dance.

Please note that this event is not organised by the Cartoonimal association, but we thought that listing it here and grouping registration will be more practical for everyone. :)
If you have additional questions for this part you can contact Furnace.
